no but really how do you even survive on the web these days without ad blockers?

the ad you see above is deliberately very basic.
both the js file, the image file, and the wrapped element id are all named in a way to be caught by easylist.

the fix

install an ad blocker lol. or if you already have one, it probably sucks.

try ublock origin (firefox, chrome) or adguard (safari).
on android, use a browser with an ad blocker built in (e.g. cromite).
